Jodhpur Airport to Get New International Terminal

The Airports Authority of India has approved plans for a new international terminal at Jodhpur Airport, aiming to boost tourism and connectivity for the Blue City.

The expansion project will include modern passenger amenities, increased runway capacity, and facilities to handle international flights directly to the city.

Local tourism industry stakeholders have welcomed the announcement, expecting it to significantly increase foreign tourist arrivals to the region.

The project is part of the central government’s UDAN scheme to improve regional connectivity across India.

Construction is expected to begin later this year, with completion targeted within 24 months.
